How ClearCorrect Works
Like Invisalign, ClearCorrect moves your teeth into proper alignment with a series of custom-made, virtually undetectable trays. You’ll be asked to wear each one in the series for 20-22 hours a day and for 1-2 weeks at a time. This does require a level of responsibility, which is why it’s recommended for older teens and adults. If you wear your aligners as instructed and take great care of your smile, there’s a good chance that your teeth-straightening journey will be only 12-18 months!
Who ClearCorrect Can Help
If you’re wondering whether you are an eligible candidate for ClearCorrect, understand that this unique orthodontic solution isn’t for everyone. There are instances that require the use of metal braces or other cosmetic or orthodontic treatments, like severely rotated teeth. With all of that said, this discreet teeth-straightening service can often be used to address mild to moderate cases of the following:
Crowded Teeth
If your teeth crowd together to the point where they are tilted out of position or overlap, then it’s not just the appearance of your smile that will suffer – your oral health will suffer too! So, don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation at our Beverly dental office so we can take a look at your smile, assess the complexity of your case, and determine if ClearCorrect is ideal for you.
Gaps Between Teeth
Unfortunately, gaps between your teeth can also increase your risk of tooth decay, periodontal disease, and other common oral health problems. That’s why we recommend learning about your treatment options sooner rather than later. If ClearCorrect is an option for you, then we can bring your teeth into proper alignment without metal brackets and wires.
Bite Alignment
Our goal is twofold: to straighten your teeth and to align your bite. Fortunately, ClearCorrect is able to correct several common bite problems, including overbites and underbites. So, if you’re having trouble chewing, speaking, or just smiling confidently, give us a call to find out more about your treatment options.
The Benefits of ClearCorrect
Whether you are preparing for ClearCorrect treatment or considering it as a possible option for a straighter smile, here are a few benefits you can expect:
- Your Daily Appearance Will Not Be Compromised: Because the aligners are clear and made from a thermoplastic material, it is highly unlikely that anyone will notice you are wearing them.
- Flexible Orthodontic Solution: Unlike traditional braces that cannot be removed, ClearCorrect allows you to remove your trays before eating or drinking. You can also more easily care for your oral health because you’ll need to remove your trays before brushing, flossing, and rinsing.
- Easy to Clean and Low-Maintenance: When removing your aligners to clean them, all you will need is a toothbrush, clear soap, and lukewarm water to remove bad bacteria and food particles.
- Minimal Irritation to Your Soft Tissues: Metal braces can rub against your lips, cheeks, and gums, causing sores and irritation. However, with ClearCorrect, the trays are molded to your teeth so that they lay flat. This reduces your chances of experiencing irritation of any kind.
How Much Does ClearCorrect Cost?
You might be surprised to hear that there isn’t a flat fee for ClearCorrect. In fact, even the general price ranges you see online can be misleading since each treatment plan is customized to the patient’s unique case. In other words, we need to learn more about the severity of your misalignment, how many aligners you need, and if single-arch treatment is possible in order to provide you with an accurate estimate. Once we have all of that information, and we can create your custom treatment plan, we will provide you with an answer.
